Frequency and volume are user adjustable. The quality doesn't not begin to
compare to playing the same files on a Sound Blaster, but are pretty good for a

lets you launch a WAV file and have it played immediately. Otherwise, it will
only be loaded into memory with the Sound Recorder and you have to take
additional steps to play it. Requires VBRUN.

allows you to easily play digitized WAV files. You can listen to
individual sound files, or use the auto-play feature to play all the
files in a directory. When iconized, you can drag WAV files from File
Manager onto Waver's icon to play them. Other features include the

It can play ranges of tracks, a whole CD, or selected tracks and also
features a Position Locator which allows you to jump to any specific spot
on the disk. When minimized, the program's icon displays the current track
playing and track time.

What excited us most about CD Player for Windows is its ability to
catalog disks. Most CD players let you program tracks, but the process
is usually less than intuitive. This program lets you easily catalog a
disk, create a playlist by clicking on selected tracks with a mouse, and
have that information displayed the next time you insert the CD. This is
an excellent way to get even more enjoyment from your CD-ROM drive.
